(bright, shining musical note) – [Controller] Ignition sequence start. – [Controller 2] Roger.
All engines are running. – [Narrator] We have
taken tremendous steps. – We choose to go to the Moon,
before this decade is out. – [Narrator] We have
achieved the earth-shaking, the breathtaking, the groundbreaking. – [Astronaut] One small step for man. – [Narrator] And left
a mark in the heavens. Our successes build one upon another, and amplify what is possible. – [Announcer] The dawn of Orion. – [Narrator] It’s time we
take the next great leap. We’re building the next chapter
of American exploration, returning to the Moon, to stay. So we can go beyond, to Mars. To expand what’s possible,
and further our understanding. The architecture for these
missions is already taking shape. We will go with new systems, bold designs, and a sustainable mission. You can hear it, taste it, touch it. We are going. We are training, testing, pressing, our pioneering spirit
into every component. Defining our resolve
with every line of code. And securing our success with
every welcomed partnership. This is not hypothetical. This is not about flags and footprints. This is about sustainable science, and feeding forward the
advance of the human spirit. Because we are the
pioneers, the star-sailors, the thinkers, the visionaries, the doers. And because we stand on
the shoulders of giants, to go farther than humanity has ever been. We will add our names to the rolls of the greatest adventurers in history. Every day, every mission,
we advance this calling. WE. ARE. NASA. And after 60 years, we’re
just getting started. (dramatic drumbeats)

  1. Awesome!

What tripped me is when they said that after 60 years, they were just getting started… So there's 60yrs gone to waste.

  2. Keep it up, NASA! You've fascinated me since I was a kid. Every Mission is a poke in the eye for the worthless Flat Earth Scum.

  3. Nasa please invent cell phones which does not damage to birds and human also.
Invent vehicle which does not make pollution more and way to reduce the existing pollution

  4. haha, indian scientists are doing everything on paar with you people, even with the lesser resources compared to you. If our scientists are given every resource of that scale from the beginning, we would have alrdy setteled on mars by now. Hail ISRO.

  5. En nuestra galaxia hay más de 100.000 millones de estrellas, cada una con su sistema solar, y en el universo hay un número infinito de galaxias. Qué un cuarks llamado humanidad pues salir de un átomo, es increíblemente inspirador.

  6. I am aware of how important Exploration means for Science, but space won`t reveal any secret till humans join forces all together, and we must learn more from our Planet before we can go to the next step. NASA 8 Scucci

  7. Hello. I am just getting back to this video, and its comments after a hiatus from the internet. There are now almost 10,000 comments, and I am unable to easily find, and thus respond to any questions that may have been asked of me. I am now able to access this TY account again, so I will see new notifications. In addition, I wish to thank those folks back in November, for the information that they provided to me. 🙂 Peace! John :)+

  8. "We’ve taken giant leaps and left our mark in the heavens." Or so claims NASA!

But we read this in Genesis 11:4 – 9 "Then they said, “Come, let us build ourselves a city and a tower with its top in the heavens, and let us make a name for ourselves, lest we be dispersed over the face of the whole earth. And the Lord came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of man had built. And the Lord said, “Behold, they are one people, and they have all one language, and this is only the beginning of what they will do. And nothing that they propose to do will now be impossible for them. Come, let us go down and there confuse their language, so that they may not understand one another's speech.” So the Lord dispersed them from there over the face of all the earth, and they left off building the city. Therefore its name was called Babel, because there the Lord confused the language of all the earth. And from there the Lord dispersed them over the face of all the earth.”

So that was a time long ago when mankind had that aspiration to reach the heavens but failed when their one language was confused and thus their project aborted and they did disperse to what we have today – a multitude of people scattered across the world speaking different languages.

So NASA claims that they've circumvented God's will and thus now have left their mark in the heavens to more than fulfil mankind's ancient dream. I quite doubt this. I believe that is a bogus claim and the rest of mankind is sorely fooled. God will never let us conquer the heavens because we are meant to have our domain only on earth. So all of you Christians, Jews and Moslems that believe NASA (along with all other space agencies) must not really believe in God. You can't believe in both.
