Salmat Ecommerce Solutions partner with Lorna Jane


We’re Lorna Jane and we have 130 stores nationally. And we’re now expanding to the USA and have around 20 stores there at the moment. So many brands out there, just sell product where we sell the way of life through the philosophy of, “Move, Nourish, Believe.” It’s about living a healthy lifestyle, about being true to yourself and about honouring the body. We as a company grew very quickly and with that, the systems were lagging behind the growth. We didn’t have a stable website to support and we had high um, traffic peaks onto the website. At times they would not get their orders all the you know, goods that they purchase you know inadequate delivery times. The two big issues was scalability and stability. A lot of things we’re done manually so that obviously um, made it difficult for us to keep up with the market and be competitive as a brand. Hey. Hi. What we needed was a platform that would support us in our continued growth in the future. We wanted to be able to, to grow, not only in Australia, but in the US as well. So we’re looking for a strategic partnership that would allow us a scalable and flexible solution. It’s really important for us to have a seamless multi-channel customer experience. It’s critical for Lorna Jane that any solution that we’d put in for the E-commerce platforms is future proof. We interviewed many partners that had all different solutions, different CMS and you know Magento and Websphere. The reason that we looked at Salmat and Hybris was that we believed in Hybris um, as a platform that could take us internationally. We have not only the mobile platform, and the web platform. Uh, but we have um, the ability for our customer service teams here, to support the customers through the back end. So that’s both using the live chat facility as well as um, we’ve got a customer service cockpit that we introduced recently. A customer service cockpit enables our customer service team to be able to basically pickup an order from the back end. So when our customers you know, having issues checking out or whether they basically just wanna ring and speak to one of our customer service agents, they can actually fulfill their transaction from end to end and actually pick up their order and transact for the customer. The team that we work with uh, are top, solid team. We include Salmat on all our strategic planning. We chose Salmat because they have a lot of experience in E-commerce solutions. We’ve seen the online conversion grow by 200% on mobile devices. It’s huge, really, really exciting. I mean that’s what you wanna see, you know when you choose the right partner, you’re gonna be making sure that you’re getting that great return of investment and seeing it as clearly as that. Yeah, we’re looking to continue the, the great customer experience on the website by rolling out some great new initiatives that will touch not only the webspace, but you know in-store as well. We’re confident that this is the right platform to take Lorna Jane into the future. We’re ready to take on USA and let them know what we’re about from down under. So very exciting.
