HTML Email vs Plain Text – Best Performance – Email Marketing for Ecommerce

Sometimes to be “on brand”, it’s nice to send an HTML email template with the images and the buttons. But I would definitely test both text and html to your list to see which one performs better Because at the end of the day, wether it’s pretty or whether it’s an ugly plain text All that really matters is the results that they’re generating. If you do choose to go with HTML, always make sure that you’re sending a plain text version alongside it. In a later module we’re going to cover “What to send” in your campaigns so that you can start crafting highly engaging emails for your list
