It highlights the importance of making sure that you’re tracking conversions, transactions and measuring your ROAS or return on ad spend for all of your pay-per-click. Specifically those doing eCommerce. In the case study, our client was tracking conversions, however, their conversions didn’t align with their transactions or their online sales. So what we did is adjusted their conversions, made sure it was measuring their transactions so that we could properly measure their return on ad spend and then ultimately optimize their keywords and their ad copies to increase sales and increase their margins and ultimately that return on ad spend.
