Close the Gap | Delta Air Lines

[♪♪MUSIC♪♪] When we’re born we’re more alike than we are different. [♪♪MUSIC♪♪] Then somewhere along the way we start to believe the more distant we are from each other the more different we must be from each other. And it’s only when we venture out into the world that we realize all the things we share. [♪♪MUSIC♪♪] Maybe that’s the power of flight. Delta isn’t flying to over 300 places just to bring us together. But to show we were never that far apart in the first place. [♪♪MUSIC♪♪]

  1. Ohhh wuaoo I like a little Delta and it's that every announcement they make is to make the world aware of what we are part of and that every human being has the chance to be someone in life no matter race and sex master Adelta..

  2. Now this is a commercial! Can't remember the last time I've seen a commercial that wasn't a complete waste of time. Nicely done👍👏

  3. What is the song/music called? I'm trying to track it down because I've heard it before but don't know the name.

  4. Very well done! Absolutely on point!

Now please sit Gillette, Red Bull and all the others down to show them how to make an inclusive commercial that doesn't shit on the remaining population. This is how you do it correctly! Kudos!

  5. At what point does society stop discriminating against minorities and start discriminating against majorities? And I’m a minority. But, human beings are extremists. Be careful what you wish for

  6. My granddad was a mechanic for Delta his entire career after serving in the Navy. He came from a small town in Georgia from very humble means. My dad was the first person to go to college. Our connection to Delta and where we are today feels very personal.
I was really pleased to see this video on one of your flights yesterday. Representation in public media matters so much. As a gay man and the grandson of a former employee, it made me proud to see a same-sex couple represented here. Thank you, Delta!

  7. A lovely sentiment, but doesnt make up for terrible customer service and blatant lies to people who pay for seats WITH THEIR FAMILY to be claim they didnt book specific seats and moved

  8. From someone who travels a lot and who’s in advertising, this is incredibly well done. Respect Delta.

  9. Incredible. Whatever amount of money it cost to put this into the second night of the Democratic Debate—it was worth it.

  10. There is a commercial like this but shorter with official airlines of the Washington Nationals and New York Mets

  11. This is some stupid bullshit, have any of you actually been to a third world country or any other nation where the culture is so night and day different they will MURDER YOU for looking differently?

Fuck you Delta with your open border bullshit, we are NOT all the same.

  12. I never see airline commercials on tv anymore. In earlier years I'd see them all the time, Today its prescription drugs, insurance and Lawyer commercials. Of course the US is much trashier now days, This Delta commercial has class and is enjoyable to watch. I enjoyed my years working for Delta.

  13. What does Delta feel the need to include 2 gay guys in this commercial? Totally disgusting to be showing this with a child between them. You don't have to keep forcing this despicable lifestyle in our faces! Just sick!

  14. Is that father and daughter sitting apart because of your new Basic cabin pricing policy? Last flight I was on we were “grateful” to at least sit with my kids next to the toilet while you separated a 7yo, 2yo and mother because they didn’t pay $50 per ticket in advance. Flight attendants did nothing to help them. We had to asksome passengers to move around with us to help them. Disgusting!

  15. Delta screwed us this year. After being nice about a delayed flight due
to their code share Skywest not having crew. We delayed our flight by a
day. The next day they then tell us we won't make our connection which
was in First. We again agree to another change and they stuck us in
Coach. Upon arriving to the airport the agent asked us why they changed
us, the plane was going to make it in time for the connection. When she
tried to move us back they had blocked out our seats, so the agent told
us to head straight to the next gate. We did was we were told and the
agent at the connection said sorry those seats have been filled. I asked
filled or sold? She wouldn't answer, at the end of the day we went from
purchased First class seats to the worst seats on the plane. Very back
against the bulk head. We were given 200.00 refund per ticket as if that
actually covered the difference. Not to mention Delta would be
compensated for the failure of Skywest to make the flight as well as the
fact they were then able to sell our seats at premium rates. And people
wonder why folks flip out. In general I am a free market guy, however
for Airlines it's time for more regulations!

    Thanks Delta! Sheesh
