Aldi shoppers fuming after Kevin the Carrot sells out – but you can still get one

Aldi shoppers are fuming as Kevin the Carrot toys sold out, after waiting hours in an online queue  Last week we told how the supermarket giant’s Christmas character was back for 2019   This year’s offering has had a Scottish makeover, complete with kilt and sporran  On Sunday morning punters descended on Aldi’s website to try to pre-order items from the range   By 11am the collection had completely sold out, Wales Online reports .  Almost 220,000 users had visited the site by 11 30am desperate to get their hands on the festive gifts.  Frustrated customers said how 20,000 people were ahead of them in the queue at one point  One lucky shopper managed to get hold of Kevin the Carrot products at 4am – by which time Russell Sprout had already sold out – but others were not so lucky  However, Aldi has announced the toys will be available in stores on Thursday, November 21 at 8am so if you missed out online you can still buy one in store!  This year, shoppers will be able to get a giant Kevin or Katie toy, a Leafy Blinders toy and even Kevin the Carrot stationery  There will no doubt be a huge rush for the toys. Each plush toy variant is limited to two per customer   Last year the range completely sold out within the morning of its release and in some parts of the UK  shoppers were fighting over the toys
